How to get to Yiwu

Yiwu City is located in the central Zhejiang province near the central eastern coast of the Peoples Republic of China. The city shares a very close proximity with other main cities in China such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou or Beijing.

Wonderful infrastructure and world-class transportation in China offers very easy access to Yiwu. As such Yiwu is hardly a distance from other financial hubs in China, so, commutating is not at all a problem. It is 300 km away form shanghai, the biggest city in China, and 120km from Hangzhou and the capital of Zhejiang province.

Every year the city welcomes millions of visitors from all parts of the world. However there is no direct international flight yet in it and therefore people flying to the Hong Kong, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou or Beijing first to get to Yiwu. HongKong and Shanghai routes are the most frequented ones. There are frequent domestic flights from several cities to Yiwu China. If you have not planned a stay in any other city, there are faster ways to take you to the small commodity city. Most of the people prefer Shanghai to Yiwu route as it is very convenient, fast and cheaper too. However if you have plans to halt for a day or more in HongKong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen or Shantou, you can fly to HK or Guangzhou first, and then travel to Yiwu after your business. There are very convenient and fast railways and roadways too. Therefore traveling to or in Yiwu is pretty easy and comfortable.

Taxi fare from Yiwu airport and Yiwu railway station to your hotel is also nominal. Fare for a private cab would be anywhere between 35-50 RMB and 30-50 RMB from airport and railway station respectively.
